For my end of the year project for my Applied Communications Arts Program (lovingly called ACAP by all) I had to do some sort of thing that related to something we did through the year, and that would be shown at the end of the year art show that was held at the new waterfront campus.
I chose to do a book of fairy shots. With that decided we planned it out (Me and Nicole, who is the model) I made the skirt with about 3 or 4 metres of red tulle... but I got lazy of sewing for hours and it not even getting remotely poofy, so I opted for stapling ( XD ) it onto the cut off tights that Nicole was wearing underneath.
took the photos, threw them into Photoshop and did a bit of Chanel Mixing until I was pleased and then away I went~
well as stated in the description, I made the skirt thing
about 3 meters of tulle bought at walmart for like $1 something a yard....O_O it was a few months ago so i dont remember the cost... and I got lazy so I ended up stapling it. xD
Fishnets were like $3 at walmart... I'm not really sure where she got the shirt and vest though..... but I thinkthe shoes are from payless
well you know those tights that girls wear under skirts and the likes now? she had a pair of those that she didnt like anymore, so we cut them into hot pants, then i had started sewing the tulle onto the 'shorts' but after a few hours and it not getting poofy and a blister growing on my finger, I decided for the stapler
But getting them on, the staples snatched onto the fishnets here and there, thats why on her thighs the fishnets have bigger holes in them than what they should.
I was also working on a deadline.... I had to have the skirt(skorts I guess is what they officially are ) for the next day (after a few days of sewing lol) so i opted for the speedy route

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
